A Labor’s Home

Where metal and humans jangled together

Machinery produce a jangling melody

Place which paid his wedges on time

Others called it a Factory

Labor called it a Home

  1. Well done! I think it’s amazing people can just see a word, and come up a poem like this very quickly. I’m always in awe, how did they do that so fast! Or at all?

And factory work must have been SO LOUD. Years ago, my mom worked at the glass containers factory. I saw her and her best friend as LaVerne and Shirley.
